We are happy to showcase the exceptional fabrication work that went into creating the newest digital billboard in Bald Hills, Brisbane’s Northern Suburbs. As the proud team at First Line Engineering, we were entrusted with the task of manufacturing this project.

Our skilled boilermakers played a pivotal role in the fabrication of this impressive digital billboard. With their expertise in quality fabrication techniques, they meticulously constructed and assembled the intricate components that make up the billboard. Once the fabrication was complete, the next step was to ensure the durability and strength of the billboard. To achieve this, thorough weld testing was performed on the welded joints. Non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques such as magnetic particle inspection (MPI) were employed to detect any potential flaws or defects in the welds. This rigorous testing process ensured that the welds met the highest standards of quality and would provide the necessary structural integrity for the billboard.

After passing the weld testing, the billboard was ready to be transported to its designated installation site. Our team orchestrated a dual crane lift, carefully hoisting the large sign onto a semi-trailer. This meticulous process ensured the safe and secure transportation of the billboard to the site.

Its strategic positioning captures the attention of a significant volume of incoming and outgoing traffic from Brendale and Strathpine, making it an optimal advertising platform for businesses looking to reach a wide audience.
