We are proud to announce our significant contribution to the impressive Herston Quarter Redevelopment project in Brisbane’s inner north. First Line Engineering Pty Ltd partnered with Hutchinson Builders and had the privilege of winning and conducting the structural steel package for this remarkable endeavor.

Our collaboration encompassed a wide range of critical elements, including seismic steel for the building, handrails and balustrades, new stairs throughout the precinct, perforated steel sheets, and large steel plate feature entrances. The Herston Quarter is set to emerge as a vibrant community that fosters intergenerational living, green spaces, and a public realm designed to encourage synergy and connectedness.

Australian Unity, in collaboration with Metro North Hospital and Health Service and Economic Development Queensland (EDQ), has been entrusted by the Queensland Government to lead the $1.1 billion redevelopment of the site. Together with Hutchinson Builders, we have worked tirelessly to create a visionary precinct that will shape the future of healthcare and community living.
